There were major delays at the Mumbai airport yesterday due to close of 10 inches of rain falling in the past 24 hours. There were on average delays of 30 minutes plus through the day. A nice pic shows the traffic jam for taking off at the airport.

On 17th of June about 100 flights to India were delayed in it’s capital city New Delhi after monitor lizards, jackals and birds strayed onto the runway. A family of monitor lizards was noticed by a pilot on the secondary runway in New Delhi yesterday morning, forcing authorities to delay flight operations for about an hour.
